ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT EXCELLENCE PROGRAM

excellence in risk management

The Enterprise Risk Management Excellence Program is a catalyst for transformative change, empowering POOL/PACT members to navigate challenges with confidence and achieve lasting success. Through my years of work with national pooling associations and other state risk pools, I have not seen a program of similar depth and breadth. Through the Enterprise Risk Management Excellence Program, POOL/PACT members are building a stronger, more resilient future by proactively identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring the continuity of essential public services. This program is a testament to the commitment of POOL/PACT members to excellence, demonstrating their dedication to serving their communities with integrity and accountability. By participating in the Enterprise Risk Management Excellence Program, POOL/PACT members are setting a new standard for public service, inspiring others to follow their lead. Having the opportunity to be part of the inaugural ERM member conference (2024), I got to speak with some POOL/PACT members who recognize the importance of the ERMEP program and greatly appreciate all the staff and their continued enterprise risk management efforts are doing for Nevada local governmental entities.”

Program Summary

About the Program (opens PDF)

On November 2, 2022, the Enterprise Risk Management Committee changed the name of the Loss Control Excellence Program to the Enterprise Risk Management Excellence Program (ERMEP). The Committee determined that the overall objective of the current Program is much more than member loss control. The objective of the Program is to measure, monitor, and increase the overall entity performance. The Committee determined that the name of the Program should reflect that objective. The application process has also been significantly streamlined. If your entity wants to apply for the Program, please fill out this online form. For additional information, please contact POOL/PACT Risk Management (775) 885-7475 or marshallsmith@poolpact.com
